The 1600 W EPP supply is the high-output member of the green-label family and is used in 14th-generation PowerEdge servers - R540, R640, R740, R740xd, R840 and R940 - where GPUs or a full CPU and drive load need more headroom than the 750 W or 1100 W units. The seller lists it for 14th-generation machines only. Both bays of a server must carry supplies of the same wattage and type - an EPP unit paired with a non-EPP unit is reported as a PSU mismatch. Full output needs a 200-240 V feed; on a 100-120 V feed the supply is limited to 800 W.
