The Feeo FSP-D40 is a Type 2 DC surge protective device (SPD) that protects photovoltaic solar systems against transient overvoltages from lightning and switching surges, per IEC 61643-31 / EN 61643-11.

Offered in 2P and 3P configurations with maximum continuous operating voltages of 600, 800, 1000 or 1500 V DC depending on variant, it delivers a nominal discharge current of 20 kA and a maximum discharge current of 40 kA (8/20 µs).

The high-energy MOV modules are replaceable and feature thermal disconnectors with a green/red status window, housed in a DIN rail mounted flame-retardant enclosure.
