Intel Xeon E5-2678 v3 server processor, used and pulled from working equipment. 12 cores with a 2.5 GHz base clock, Haswell-EP generation, in the LGA 2011-3 package. This is an OEM version: a part built to a customer specification rather than an Intel catalogue model, and it runs on the same LGA 2011-3 boards as the catalogue Xeon E5 v3 processors.

Fits single- and dual-socket LGA 2011-3 server boards, including Dell PowerEdge R630 and R730, HPE ProLiant Gen9, Supermicro X10 and Lenovo System x3650 M5.
